Getting a bone (pisiform) removed from my left hand today. It should be the final step in fixing the chronic pain that's developed ever since I got the nailgun wound in my hand two years ago.

Still, I'm nervous.

As one of the people who suffered through the cataclysmic embarrassment that was the butchering of names at Seattle's Hugo Awards, @grigorylukin.bsky.social's essay is a must-read. He's got my vote.

I kept watching Succession in the hopes that it would get better and rise above the "insufferable rich parasitic scumbags being shitty to each other" premise.

It did not.

But hey, the script's got some good, scathing insults, at least.
