In my experience they don't get mad so much as make excuses. Or perhaps explanations. It's a crazy, difficult, complicated and confusing world. Some folks don't have the bandwidth to do more than survive. I get that.

I wouldn't want to go back and live in the world of my parents or grandparents generation. Like before the Civil Rights movement, or when women couldn't vote, or being discovered to be gay could ruin your life. Are things perfect? No. But the GOP wants to take us to before the New Deal. No thanks.
I don't know about where you are, but I've been seeing an awful lot of people getting very fired up, organizing, running for local office, shouting at town meetings, picketing the state house, and otherwise raising a great deal of localized hell.
Well, that often is the case.
Glad to hear it. Because that would be no help at all. So, what do you advise us to do?
Good plan. Let's do that. Doesn't mean we can't also vote.
I would so love never to have to look at her face again, but if I do have to, let it be answering to criminal charges.
Dammit, my frikkin' government keeps finding new ways to be evil! I am so sorry, Canada, we're doing everything we can, but we're up against a criminal organization.

Barack Obama: "We are living in a time when it can be hard to hope β each day, we wake up to some new assault on our democratic institutions. Another setback to the idea of the rule of law β an offense to common decency β If we don't step up, no one else will"
When it comes to health advice, more people trust the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association than they do federal health agencies, according to a new poll
It's not that we forgot about the Epstein files. They are still there and will surface again like untreated syphilis. It just that we went to war with Iran, and there are still ICE atrocities being committed all over the country, and corruption and Noem, and prices and healthcare and-and-and.......
Unless its Fetterman.
He IS the Antichrist? I called it!
Yeah, that sounds about right.
Okay, unproven allegation, etc., etc. But the fact that so many of us find this allegation completely believable with no stretch of the imagination speaks volumes.

It's hard to keep all the horrors the Trump Regime has committed in mind, from the abandonment of Ukraine to the bombing of Iran, all the corruption and violations of the Constitution, and of course, the Epstein files. It feels like standing in the middle of a circle of screaming people.
Dear me, what are we to do then? You have so many valid criticisms, surely you must have some constructive suggestions?
So what do you suggest we do? I'd really rather not sit back in a warm, self-satisfied cloud of cynicism, jetting cold water on people who want to do everything they can to, if not make things better, stop them from getting any worse.
Ranked choice voting is the best hope we have of breaking the cycle of lesser evil. But we don't have it yet, and it's going to take a lot of work to get us there. In the meantime, I'd love to hear what alternative you have to voting, and why we shouldn't vote while also pursuing that alternative.
#NHPolitics So on brand for this libertarian hellscape.

To all who say that the two party system is broken, I say, I agree. I'd love to see ranked choice voting instituted. But we don't have that option yet. Until we do, this is what we have to work with. If y'all have an alternative plan, let's hear it.
We should each focus on what we are good at. Play to our strengths. Targeted outpourings of rage against a specific issue definitely gets results. Local politics can be very powerful when they are trying to put a concentration camp in your city. Organize, write letters, get out and protest. Vote.
Agreed. Fight the battle on every front. Watch what they do and be ready with a countermeasure.
Not in Minnesota.
What do you suggest?
Damn right I did!
They can want, they can shout and demonstrate, but it won't do a lick of good. All the memes posted on Blue Sky won't change a thing. Maybe the midterms will make a difference. I hope so.
Aren't they all?
Like Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
