Today weβre putting the harpejji to the test to see if this keyboard guitar can play funk!

Ahaha, from all over! I think this one was just a simple amazon purchase, lol.
Thank you, Marco!
Today weβre checking out the thunder tube, one of the weirdest percussion instruments out there! If you give it a shake around, this drum creates a deep rumble that sounds like a gong! Or. Well. Thunder!
Thank you, Marco!
Hi friends! #GDC is a week away, so I just want to remind any #gameaudio people, that we've got a little server for those who are at the event, and want to keep up with things! Can't wait to see you at the show!

Today we're running a stylophone through a guitar amp, and seeing what happens! Honestly? The results are pretty cool, and gives the instrument a whole new vibe, and lots of new options!
Today weβre seeing if the harpejji can answer an age-old question: βDoes it DJENT?!β
They surprisingly go back to the 1960s, despite looking fairly modern!
Thank you, Marco!
Heck yeah! That is so, SO awesome!
Image of a stylophone's waveform I recorded. Kind of cool looking.
Today we're taking a look at the stylophone, a tiny synthesizer you play with a pen! Originally released in the late 1960s, this pocket-sized synth creates tones when the stylus touches its metal keyboard, which gives it its electrifying sound!
Oh gosh! Thank you so very much!
Thanks so much, Tom!
Thank you Marco!
Thank you very much for 4000!
Today weβre taking a look at two instruments that can sound just like a guitar, but arenβt! The harpejji and the bass taishogoto are both string instruments with keyboard-style layouts, but they come from completely different ideas and musical traditions!
It's a really lovely instrument!
Today weβre taking a look at a chromatic harp from Korea! This is the hanago, a modern lyre-style harp that lets you play fully chromatic notes, unlike traditional harps or lyres! Even cooler, you can plug it into an amp just like a guitar, giving it a super sick modern sound!
Did you know they wrote an OFFICIAL Harpejji book?! Well. Kinda. Itβs a βquick-start guideβ that gives information on the Harpejji, including scales, chords, and some really cool concepts that make it feel totally different from guitar, bass, or other keyboard instruments!
Thank you, Marco! π
Today weβre turning chords into synth-like arps on the harpejji, the 24-string keyboard guitar and bass! I found out that if you route a harpejji thatβs got the right effects on it, through a rhythmic gate plugin, you can make arpeggiator-like effects, as if the harpejji was a synthesizer!
Today we're taking a look at the electric taishogoto! You play keyboard in your left hand, and strum like a guitar in the right! Previously, I've talked about the bass taishogoto, and the original acoustic taishogoto, but this is the electric soprano model!
Definitely!
Yeah, I think it's pretty dope!
Today we're taking a look at the "pianoid." The company apparently takes the chassis of broke, and irreparable pianos, and repurposes them, making them digital, so the pianos can last longer, and have a life, instead of being tossed into the junk yard!
Hi everyone! #GDC is a month away, and I'd like to remind any and all #gameaudio friends, that we have a Discord server for those attending the event, that allows people to touch base, and connect!

Today we're going over tone, and EQing the harpejji!
Today Iβm taking a look at the Pocket Scion! Itβs a portable synthesizer that allows you to make music out of mushrooms! Seriously! Iβm not sure on all the specifics, but it reads βbio feedback data,β from the mushrooms, and generates tones from it! Itβs music any βfun giβ can enjoy!
