We had a special guest this week - my friends were going out of town so we got to watch their puppy! He's the bestest boi. Mara was very unsure at first, but they left each other alone and it worked well!

The kids have been having so much fun with karate classes I decided to give it a go, too! First class was a fun night because of the holidays - turns out I remember how to do flying sidekicks after an almost 30 year break!! But wow am I sore this morning!
My husband, a Super Introvert, giving me grief about having to attend Christmas parties with our friends (people he genuinely likes) suddenly realized yesterday that having dinner at said parties meant we didn't need to unload or reload the dishwasher even once yesterday.
