Expecting a perfectly ordered story from someone in survival mode makes about as much sense as expecting someone to write a diary while a fire alarm is going off.

Fragmented recall doesn’t signal dishonesty. It reflects how the human nervous system encodes overwhelming events.

At the same time, the part of the brain that organizes events into a clean timeline gets disrupted by stress hormones. The result: vivid fragments and fuzzy gaps.

That pattern is exactly what trauma researchers expect to see.

Trauma memory doesn’t record like a movie. The brain’s threat system locks onto sensory details that signal danger. Smells, textures, sounds, clothing, lighting. Those get burned in.

Both of them recently found DOJ lawyers in contempt for defying court orders & levied coercive daily fines on them until they complied.
