Cobra? Likely. @travelwithburra - can’t take the Aussie outta him said “fuck it mate, she’ll be right!” But sensibly we went to the hospital to get a blood test! 12 hours later, and a few extra tests (as the Viet doctors do) - we got the news we expected! Sean is Irish - who knew?! And he got lucky - no venom! So the next day we got back to it!! 37km in 7hrs - lots of kids, and a finish in the dark! Get around the lads and donate! The launch from the Hanoi Opera House seems like so long ago! Today we’ve been dealing with the extremes of weather Vietnam provides : from heavy storms to blistering heat; but we are always rewarded with amazing views and the fantastic kindness of people. Lunch was on the house today at a roadside restaurant as a “thank you” from the owners for us doing our bit fighting slavery. Great food, drinks and even a bit of balm for our tired feet. (Even the karaoke next door couldn’t ruin this lunch!)The bodies are simultaneously getting stronger and also picking up little niggles here and there. Blisters, ankles, knees and hips are all talking to us now. The day is truly long and tough. But we always know that we can stop whenever we need to; we can change plans; we can take rest days. People in slavery don’t have this option and don’t know when, or if, they will be freed.This is where Blue Dragon comes in. However, they can’t do the work without funding.
