The arcade lightgun shooter is a largely lost art.

This game gets it. And goes UNSPEAKABLY HARD, thematically. Goddamn, that demo opening is clever.

I realy need to know if those new Sinden-style lightguns can work on it...

Did you know that #boktai had its own valentines day event programmed into the game?

In the game, there’s a secret “affinity” mechanic where actions the player takes affects how much certain characters like Django, including inputting boktai1 passwords or selecting certain dialogue choices.

Today I wanna shout out for a spiritual fangame of Boktai
This wonderful fangame is FREE!!

Believe it or not the original Boktai game was made by Hideo Kojima

It was GBA exclusive which came with a sun light sensitive gadget. The idea was to promote kids to play outdoors under the sun :D
