so with that being said, weight gain, in this instance, can still be progress and an increase on the scale can still be from the increased exercise due to muscle mass. As backwards as that sounds, try not to let it discourage you!!

okay nerding out a little BUT - cardio can actually increase muscle growth (shoutout mitochondria) and obviously increase muscular endurance… both technically build & strengthen your muscles which still leads to that leaner, more dense makeup compared to fat stores in our body

muscle is more dense than fat, try to ignore the #’s and focus on the changes you can see and feel! you’re doing amazing
