I've picked up the Pocket Editions of the Player's Guide and GM's Guide, as well as the Labyrinth Worldbook & Adventures, so I'm slowly building a collection of ToV but have yet to play it. This review definitely encourages me to look at it further.

Welcomed a new player to our Frostmaiden campaign that fit in nicely as we finished Tier 1 with a Big Boss fight against a buffed Sephik Kaltro.
Had a fun RP session for most of our Sat Moonshaes game.
And Phandelver finished Talhund Fri!

This will be one of the Chase Showcases if he is as good as he looks like he'll be.

I'm not from Nunavut, but I am Canadian and Snowguard was pretty darn cool. Wish we saw more of her (and more Champions)!

Its a solid ability, but keeping Maz alive won't be easy with that statline. There does seem to be more wide strategies available, so its possible we'll see the board fill up a little more post-rotation and, if so, her utility improves. I'd probably never run more than 2, but I'll try her.

Last night, I ran Love Bites for a 2nd group for the 2nd night in a row after running A Perilous Joy Festival on Thursday. Somehow managed to kill two more PCs in last night's after everyone who could heal were Charmed. That's 7 in 5E. #ttrpg #proDM

Finally returned to my irregular #CallofCthulhu Order of the Stone #TTRPG campaign after a 2-month hiatus and started the second chapter. A much more traditional investigative section than the straight monster horror of part 1, but still lots of great moments. Back in two weeks for more! #ProDM

Signed up for the first three RPGs I'll be playing at Terminal City Tabletop Convention next month. Looking forward to trying out Brindlewood Bay, Pirate Borg, and Vampire 5E!

I would've placed Next Gen higher and TOS lower, although both had a mix of great & awful episodes, unlike DS9, which remains the most consistent quality standard of the franchise. Also, never a big TOS fan, TNG hooked me.
Voyager after rewatch with kid may top TOS now.

Had a really fun RP-heavy session this afternoon with my Frostmaiden crew, as they continued to try and find proof that Sephik Kaltro is a killer (I bumped that quest to higher level). Got to put the improv cap on to bring some humourous NPCs to life. Lots of laughs. Good times!

We were back to the Moonshaes tonight, as our adventurers completed their first adventure (The Library of Lethchauntos from Adventures in Faerun) and then walked out of the Library and into an ambush of Feywild Goblins to end the night! Bring on the misadventures of Level 3!

Up early & back to revisiting of the Nentir Vale, as I plot out future campaigns. So many directions to go with all the excellent material of 4E. Whether one hates the system or not (I didn't), there was a ton of good setting material put out in 4th that gets overlooked. Enjoying the return! #TTRPG

Kicking it old school playing in a Warhammer FRPG 2E game. Tolgar Stonebinder, Journeyman Runesmith, and his party seek out the Chaos items of a Khorne cult to destroy them (and prevent our party member from getting them). Its Warhammer, I'm sure it will go fine...

Finished up the Eberron: Quickstone #TTRPG campaign tonight with our heroes battling to keep a Daelkyr from escaping into the mortal realm. Borrowing the Refraction of Ilvaash stats from Phandelver & Below, the team stopped a Mind Flayer's ritual & the Refraction to save Droaam & the world!

Blue Red Hero will also likely be more control hybrid than pure aggression, so something like a Force deck could include Mando alongside 4-cost Ki-Adi Mundi and other card draw options. Ultimately, though, I doubt Mando will get too many repeated Shields, he'll likely get one or two good hits in.

He doesn't affect the board state immediately, which is definitely a consideration, especially if blitz has any legs in the early meta. But in a deck that also wants to draw cards for something like Aggressive Negotiations, Mando replaces himself with the card, is sticky, and a good AN target.

Session 2 of my home game's play-through of the Imperium Maledictum Starter Set continued tonight! Our Baby Inquisitors continued their Blazing Seraph investigations, defeated gangers & then, in typical #TTRPG fashion, unknowingly jumped to the final location and toward the final battle. Good times!

Its become increasingly easy to draw cards outside the draw step, but even if you never draw another card, a 6/5 Shielded and a card for 6 is excellent value. This is the Mandalorian card we've been waiting for.

First full session of Eclipse of the Earthmother, the new 2024 #DnD Moonshaes #TTRPG campaign I'm running, was tonight. Added two new players to the mix to round out the group and they continued exploring the Library of Lethchauntos. Butts were kicked on both sides, but the party prevailed! #ProDM

A fun night of casual Star Wars Unlimited before a busy weekend of #TTRPGs! Local FLGS has a pretty new crew, so I played less powerful decks. Tonight's were Rose Tico and DJ, as well as borrowing a Phasma deck. Rose and DJ did well. The Phasma deck needed some love. Still, a fun night!

Out of curiosity, were those Runestones what was keeping the Gnolls in check all those years and the removal of them released them and worse? :)

That all sounds amazing, especially the Runestone-Steampunk idea. Very nice!
I've been neck deep in the Moonshaes the last couple of weeks, but with another of my games coming to an end this Monday, I am definitely going to try and find time to dive deeper into Nentir Vale some more. Thanks!

Being dual aspect may put a damper on it some as well. Were it more ubiquitous by being a single colour, it might turn out to be crazy, but its limited by its aspect requirements. Still, its going to be fun to experiment with!

Much like OG Jabba unit, this should only get better as the arc rolls on. Solid card, but likely in the future.

He'll be a resource in mirror matchups, but in matchups where your top end is far better than your opponents, he'll be gold.
Interesting to see if he turns out to be as prominent in the meta as preview predictions make him out to be. There have been other cards that OMGed us but didn't pan out.

He looks pretty solid. 3/5 on the attack on turn 4 and his ability straightens his spiffy podracer in Falcon-esque fashion. I like him a lot.
