Aber ich würde mir mal die Struktur borgen: Wenn Propaganda nichts ändern würde, würden nicht alle autoritären Bewegungen von Beginn an auf sie setzen - und zugleich freie Öffentlichkeit unterdrücken. Dann würden Diktatoren nicht Journalistinnen und Künstler inhaftieren. Dann würden nicht Putschisten immer gleich zu Beginn Radio-und Fernsehstationen besetzen. Dann gäbe es keine Parteizeitungen. Wenn Beeinflussung nicht wirken würde, würde Werbung nicht ganze Branchen finanzieren und würden Parteien nicht sorgsam ihre Botschaften im Wahlkampf testen.

It was a really great talk by @scott.hanselman.com. I can relate to it in so many ways. My Commodore 64 was a Schneider PC 1640 that made it behind the Iron Curtain in East Germany in 1987. Thanks to my dad, it changed my life immensely. I still have it.
