You're telling me Lindsey Graham had a secret meeting with a man? I'm glad I was sitting down
This is low key the most fucked up and chickenshit depraved thing thatβs happened so far, although the competition is fierce
Headline and subhed of Washington Post op-ed arguing that there should be more representation of evangelical Christians on the Supreme Court and other government institutions.
Iβm currently writing a book about whatβs really wrong with #SCOTUS and how to fix it.
Suffice it to say, this ainβt it:
Maybe now people will finally understand the 3D land view of elections. Neither total turnout nor two-way results capture it.
Different groups of voters.
Enter and exit the electorate.
Depending on conditions.
(Also: this is why aggressive moderation fails!)
Let's be clear: the U.S. had a deal that could have prevented Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.
Trump ripped up that deal.
Then he started a war instead of doing the hard work of diplomacy to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.
As an Eagle Scout - Fuck this insecure clown
FIGHTERS (VA) > FOLDERS (MD)
People want FIGHTERS. Bill Ferguson and most of his caucus are not meant for this time.
The entire Democratic strategy debate β "moderate" or move left? fight or compromise? β is based on a misreading of data. Voters don't think Dems are too progressive; they think Dems are weak. The actual math on what to do about this isn't even close!

Mr. Chairman, your investigation is supposed to be assessing the federal governmentβs handling of the investigations and prosecutions of Epstein and his crimes. You subpoenaed eight law enforcement officials, all of whom ran the Department of Justice or directed the FBI when Epsteinβs crimes were investigated and prosecuted. Of those eight, only one appeared before the Committee. Five of the six former attorneys general were allowed to submit brief statements stating they had no information to provide. You have held zero public hearings, refused to allow the media to attend them, including today, despite espousing the need for transparency on dozens of occasions. You have made little effort to call the people who show up most prominently in the Epstein files. And when you did, not a single Republican Member showed up for Les Wexnerβs deposition. This institutional failure is designed to protect one political party and one public official, rather than to seek truth and justice for the victims and survivors, as well as the public who also want to get to the bottom of this matter. My heart breaks for the survivors. And I am furious on their behalf.
Infuriatingly, the Trump Administration gutted the Trafficking in Persons Office at the State Department, cutting more than 70 percent of the career civil and foreign service experts who worked so hard to prevent trafficking crimes. The annual trafficking report, required by law, was delayed for months. The message from the Trump Administration to the American people and the world could not be clearer: combatting human trafficking is no longer an American priority under the Trump White House. That is a tragedy. Itβs a scandal. It deserves vigorous investigation and oversight. A committee endeavoring to stopping human trafficking would seek to understand what specific steps are needed to fix a system that allowed Epstein to get away with his crimes in 2008. A committee run by elected officials with a commitment to transparency would ensure the full release of all the files. It would ensure that the lawful redactions of those files protected the victims and survivors, not powerful men and political allies.

New poll: 42% of adults say they would spend a hypothetical $75 billion surplus on reducing housing, health care, & food costs, vs 5% who say immigration enforcement.
Voters also say they'd want to pause Trump's deportations if they were causing inflation.

1. The New York Times, unsurprisingly, has released yet another hit piece on transgender people.
This time, it comes from Jesse Singal.
I fact check it in my latest piece.

John Oliver and team do a great job here of explaining how Twitter/X is a cesspool and why you shouldnβt go anywhere near it. Only thing it misses is new research showing that its right-biased algorithm βworksβ in that it shifts usersβ views rightward. www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7ZG...
YES! The ONE I would buy!
Exciting representation!

An image of a New York Times Opinion Guest Essay titled "Medical Associations Trusted Belief Over Science on Youth Gender Care," published February 24, 2026. The article is written by Jesse Singal. Below the headline is an illustration featuring a person in green medical scrubs with a stethoscope around their neck; the top half of their face is obscured by a large transgender pride flag (consisting of horizontal blue, pink, and white stripes). The bottom of the screenshot includes a "Listen to this article" player and a brief bio of the author. Would you like me to help you draft a response or an analysis of the arguments presented in this essay?
Jesse Singal is back to spike the football on the backs of trans youth. Congrats man, you got care banned in most of the country, families are fleeing the country, and trans kids are killing themselves.
Happy now?

Relevant to today's conversation about AI's inherent sexism, here's an email from cognitive psychologist and early AI theorist Roger Schank, arguing to Epstein that women can't be truly intelligent, because they care too much about what other people think.
Did not need a leak to know this - anyone who was on social media knew this - and knew the right wing was also helping promote it (and worries about Joe's age)
Democrats need to be the Party of PEACE and PEOPLE - including HUMAN RIGHTS everywhere.

Screenshot of a tweet from a verified account reading, βOh look more violent trans terrorism,β quoting another verified commentary account. The quoted post claims that a person named Austin Tucker, who was reportedly shot and killed while trying to breach Mar-a-Lago with a gun, was discovered to be transgender after social media accounts were uncovered and then deleted. Below the text are two side-by-side mirror selfies of a long-haired individualβone wearing a white sleeveless shirt and jeans, the other shirtless in a bathroom. A large red X is drawn across the entire image with the word βFalseβ in bold red letters over the photos, indicating the claim is false.
It's just like this now. Every single shooting that happens gets blamed on trans people. It spreads like wildfire even when it's a blatant lie.
This is exactly right. The Onion quietly left Twitter a month ago and... our weekly subscribers went up. It's because we're doing well here, on Instagram and on YouTube.
As a business, being on Twitter is somewhere between useless or detrimental, unless you're selling boner pills.
Trump openly violating the Supreme Court cc: @johnfetterman.com
Well maybe they should relent on letting ONE specific part of law enforcement in the USA wear masks and be totally anonymous while they kill American citizens in the street?
It's almost as if the MAGA core, from the elites in Trump's cabinet to the J6 shock troops, have something *very particular* they share in common.
Trump's financial regulators can't even say insider trading is bad.
Most corrupt Administration in history.
OMG SAME OVER HERE IN YOUR OLD COLONY!
Watching leaders resign worldwide over Epstein connections while Republicans rally to protect Howard Lutnick, after he clearly lied about doing business with a pedophile, is one of the most grotesque moral failures in modern politics.
