I’ve been stuck on the same chapter of this fic for like 2 months? 3, maybe? Idk. It’s been a while. I keep going back over it and, as much as I want it to feel right, there’s something off. So I brainstormed another idea to move the story along and I think it’s going to work this time <3
I want to believe that the easter eggs and variants and all of that are supposed to be some kind of social experiment about brand/artist loyalty, but I think that aspect was accidental XD
That said, I'm terribly underwhelmed by The Life of a Show Girl and, after Midnights and TTPD, I really expected that lyrical momentum to keep going. Instead, this is the most commercial album she's put out and nothing about it feels new. :/
I think easter eggs (in media) are so fun, but Taylor Swift might be overdoing it a bit.
