Actually, this is the exact argument of the proponents of client side scanning. To be clear, the proposal breaks the security guarantees E2EE is designed to provide: the adversary can look at the messages in transit: albeit not while on the wire, but instead before they enter the envelope.

Europe is still pushing for the scanning of all your outgoing messages for potential child sexual abuse material (the so called 'chat control' proposal). Tsja.. het zijn natuurlijk niet HUN patiënten; ze voeren enkel analyses uit in opdracht van zorgverleners. Als je jou redenering volgt zou iedere partij die diensten verleend aan zorgverleners het BSN moeten opslaan ;-)
