Reading these responses, and I do want to temper expectations. The show actually aired in 2021 while South Korea was still filming under pandemic rules. So it's a bit scaled down for a zombie story (and a bit of a slow burn), but it's a tremendous character drama, especially between the two mains.
Happiness is on Netflix. It has a zombie outbreak! Itβs got breakdown of human society on a small scale! Itβs got a spunky female lead (Han Hyo-Joo) & Park Hyun-Sik as the relationship-goals male lead! Come for the complex emotional investment, stay for watching shitty people get their faces eaten!
