Hard to believe that 6 years ago as of last week, this happened.
To this day, my lips twitch and tingle when I feel threatened.
Im not good at posting, I'm aware of that. I always feel like I'm bothering people, or setting myself up for ridicule. Inwardly I scream at myself that I'm not good enough anyways. So when I do manage to make one post, its because I've managed to push the subconscious bully out of the way.
Something I realised in therapy is that everytime I post, its because I've just won a battle with myself.

No, it was more of a question of who I am underneath the abuse.
My last session of this round of CBT was last Monday. She asked me what I would write about if I hadn't gone through everything I've been through. The bullying, the abuse. What's burried beneath it all. How can I answer that question

Its been a long, hard journey. My mental health has been on a rollercoaster of a journey. I'm back in therapy again to try to gain more of my old self back. But every day is a huge middle finger to my abuser
I know i should have posted this a couple of months ago, but fuck it.
On the 19th of January 2020, I called the police on my ex for stalking and coehrsive/controlling behaviour. I've now reached my 5yr freedomversary.
