Contemplating this as my facilities new logo. What do you think?
You know youβre a mass spec person when you are watching Olympic skating and every time they say quads you think about how yours probably needs to be cleaned π

Yikes ! Speed running the AI apocalypse i see . This canβt be real right?

That was someone else . I think having a SHT repository for these methods might be a good idea
Tell me about it . They need to put in a function to select how many tips youβre loading to adjust the pressure
Opentrons came out and adjusted the pressure of the 96well head and it got better. I still am a little disappointed they are still cagey on how I can adjust this myself if it happens again
My buddy who works for an AI company says Claude Code is what everyone is using, but I used GeminiAI as you can get a pro account free with an edu email address . Seemed to work okay I think
If you're interested in how I did this. It wasn't that hard. The github site is here github.com/bsphinney/DI... You can find the original version if you want the ASCII charts that only seem to run locally. And here is my work being GeminiAI's assistant gemini.google.com/share/d0e59c...
Itβs just @vadim-demichev.bsky.social python QC script that I told the ai to make into a web site app . I did it because itβs not run automatically when you run Dia-nn on Linux like it is on windows and I thought it would be useful .
I had a version that would actually turn the graphs into real ascii charts but it crashed the online version of streamlit . It works on the desktop however!
Want to make your DIA-NN QC reports in a web browser and then go back in time to the 80's and 90's? Now you can with my completely AI vibe coded streamline app! dia-nn-qc.streamlit.app You're welcome π

How do you deal with missing values and "unique" proteins that were only identified in one condition in proteomics data?
Mengchun Li, an amazing PhD student in my lab, developed this great Bayesian approach. Please try it and give feedback!

Are the AI's telling people to buy extended warrantee's & paint protections?
I asked the notebook, you can see the answer in teh notebook chat box. I think anyone can ask it questions maybe ?
Itβs so hard to tell whatβs correct and whatβs not , especially if itβs not your niche
I asked if it made it up. Apparently no.
Google AI may have made it up, I can't take credit for it
This I wasn't aware of
I made a google notebook llm based on this www.nature.com/articles/s41... and new data concerning mRNA - Protein expression correlation over the last year. It even wrote a grant , which you can find in there if anyone wants to submit it ! notebooklm.google.com/notebook/2c7...
