The outpour of love from all over the world is truly touching. As we grieve our baby boy, a life cut way too short, our spirits are somewhat lifted over how many lives he touched, over how many of you absolutely adored him

Goodbye to our sweet, precious, Cookie Monstah 💔😭🌈

We couldn't let him suffer, so spent the day giving him all the love we possibly could, and made the impossible decision. Truly, thank you to everyone for sharing his life with us. It meant more than you could know. We're going to miss him so ****ing much.

He had an autoimmune disease since birth. That, and his medication made him prone to infection, and liver/pancreas issues. Then came the antibiotic resistant staph infection. The antibiotics made things worse. He wound up with severe pancreatitis, and the prognosis was not good

Cookie's dad here: We're heartbroken. His life was cut way, way too short. He had just turned 5, and Friday would have been his 5th Gotcha Day.

To all of me's frens, me's sadly went OTRB 🌈 Mommy and daddy gibbed me's wuv rite up to da vewwy end. Fank you so much for sharing me's advenshures. Me's now wif big bwuther Peanut, habbing zoomies, eeting nummies, and barking at zombs. Wif all me's wuv, 🍪

Me's bloodwork wasn't good, but da ultrasound came back normal. Me's hab low albumin, and other messy levels

Me's staying at da ER obernight. Dey fink dey hab a shot, but da next 24 hours is crucial. Hopefully dis isn't daddy's last bewwy wub
