Reminded me of the days when 17,000 Sharks fans would be chanting “Fraser sucks” when Kerry Fraser would blow a series of calls. Really a disappointing performance by the zebras on a night when several Sharks also really stepped up (Vanecek, Zetterlund, Kovalenko).
Nothing like a non-call on what should have been a major penalty. Just horrendous officiating.
We’ve lost too many irreplaceable CA State Park natural and cultural resources in the past few years.
This, in a nutshell, is part of what is completely broken in the US today.
No biological or epidemiological basis for culling bison outside park boundaries. Just sheer ignorance and greed.

I started my career with State Parks as a seasonal in 1989. Two weeks ago, I retired. I might go back to being a seasonal ranger at some point, or maybe just volunteer. Feeling a little disoriented, frankly, but very grateful for all the friends and memories.
