All of my stories. My characters are alive, they appear as they are and play their stories, I'm just the scribe. I hear them, see them, feel with them, we're blended into a world that comes to life. I don't even see the letters when I write, it's an incredible feeling.

In my dystopian sci fi WIP, Raymond always dresses impeccable for work, suit and tie, but he rarely wears casual clothing, even at home. He might shed his suit jacket and his tie. No shoes, of course, he likes his flat cleaned to perfection, and makes sure River does it, or else..
Not so much the pain from that wound, but more the abuse and the pain related to it. River lives alone with Raymond who is violent, it's also a psychologically nigh unbearable environment. That's what's changing him.
