And any negative PR that has come out of this is of their own making.

Please continue to support fired APTP workers: www.spotfund.com/story/a279c5... 5/5

Our union has always been about addressing working conditions and having job security. We wouldn’t have put all this effort into organizing our union if we didn’t care about APTP or its mission. Any suggestion by APTP management to the contrary is an outright lie. 4/5

We have yet to hear from the Executive Director or other APTP leaders why unionizing is such a threat to APTP. APTP leadership should want their workers unionized given the racist legacy of at-will employment. 3/5

APTP management hired an expensive, infamous charter school lawyer to union bust, yet this is how they’re engaging? Or maybe that’s why they turned off comments, to hide the evidence? 2/5

ICYMI APTP management has been lashing out online at anyone who tries to hold them accountable for union busting. You can infer how toxic a workplace APTP is by the way management has been engaging community members. 1/5

Last Wednesday @antipoliceterrorproject fired two of our union members abruptly in clear retaliation for unionizing. Please donate today to support our comrades (LINK BELOW) and send emails to aptpinfo@gmail.com demanding their reinstatement. Shameful! www.spotfund.com/story/a279c5...

We could avoid an onerous hearing altogether if we simply come to an agreement with management outside of the costly NLRB process. We look forward to reaching a swift resolution, grounded in healing justice, so we can move onward together!

We know folks have been wondering. Here’s our election update!

TLDR: The election is still unresolved due to three contested ballots. Now we are preparing for a costly post-election hearing with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

We are the union. The union isn’t some third party — the union is us! The workers whose labor makes our programs run and who have sacrificed so much to help make APTP what it is today. The union is about having each others’ backs and standing up for our fellow workers everywhere!

Union yes! ✅ 2/2

Workers with unions have better wages and benefits than non-union shops — but that’s not all. Collective bargaining will give us a chance to improve our working conditions in non-economic areas too — from remote work policies to professional development to a 30-hour week. 1/2

A union contract protects workers by requiring just cause for termination, protecting workers who speak up from excessive or unwarranted discipline. Collective bargaining will allow… 2/3

All workers deserve a union.

We all deserve to have job security, workplace protections, and a voice in our working conditions. Without a union workers are “at-will” meaning they can be fired at any time for any reason. Without a union workers are vulnerable to abuses on the job… 1/3

YDSA and the IWW were out today supporting our Co-Chair and @peetslaborunion member Deya, who was fired in the morning for her union organizing.

If you are interested in supporting Peet's workers, come to our emergency meeting tomorrow at 7 PM at the Grassroots House.

Seven Peet's workers who pioneered the first Peet's Labor Union (PLU) in the nation are being disciplined for their union activities. We need community support for them to keep their jobs and continue their union organizing. 2/3

Peet’s Workers: “Instead of raising workers' wages from the bare minimum that we're being paid, Peet's Coffee Inc., owned by the multinational conglomerate JAB Holdings, spent over $100,000 to break apart our union, and distributed misleading materials in an attempt to divide us. 1/3
