I am frankly more concerned about the apathy of the American public and even more importantly the lack of leadership in the Democratic Party.
This is not a dress rehearsal. Every single American must speak out against this Facist administration.
Good thing the head of the CIA isn’t a Russian asset.
Super shocking. Given that Russia helped our enemies during Vietnam, Korea, and both gulf wars, who could have guessed this would happen. www.cnn.com/2026/03/06/p...
Obama: "We are living in a time where it can be hard to hope. Each day we wake up to some new assault on our democratic institutions. Another setback to the idea of the rule of law ... but this man - Rev. Jesse Jackson - inspires us to take a harder path ... bc if we don't step up, nobody else will"
Ya for sure, it felt timely given the “change” in leadership in some political realms.
The fought for democracy is real as those with power and influence work to rig the system in their favour.
A budget is a moral document.
🎶 Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no
Yeah

The GOP-led Congress, supposedly a co-equal branch of government, has given all their power to Trump, no questions asked. That includes their role in authorizing declarations of war. #Trump #Iran #IranWar #war #WarPowers #GOP #Congress #Republicans #MAGA

Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and it’s good she’s gone.
But this doesn’t change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.
We’re glad that Kristi Noem has been fired and she should face real accountability for DHS’ rampant violence.
But Noem’s firing doesn’t suddenly solve the crisis at DHS. Swapping personnel without changing course is not accountability — it’s a spin tactic. What we really need is structural change.
Kristi Noem led a lawless and violent agency that wreaked havoc on our state and killed two Minnesotans. Her firing is welcome news, but it is much too late.
Do we expect the DHS secretary to know “the details” of every case in the country? Of course not. But we should expect her to care about them.
