Working in an industry deeply anxious about the rise of AI, itβs hard not to notice the irony of the countless LinkedIn posts that are almost certainly written by ChatGPT.
Live At The Moth Club was not a stolen idea, judge rules: Comedian Harry Deansway loses his copyright case
Foolishly decided that the best way to bring in the new year was to watch the documentary βThe Remarkable Life Of Ibelinβ on Netflixβ¦ And I still havenβt stopped crying.
Merry Christmas one and all. To all the parents/non-parents-forced-to-witness-the-joy-of-other-peopleβs-children, out there, please enjoy this picture that perfectly sums up my inner most thoughts on this merry family festive day.
This looks perfect. Very excited to see the finished product!
This was an excellent interview Tom. So many parallels to the world of entertainment media in general. The fight for βattentionβ is a battle being fought across the entertainment industry. Shawn made excellent observations. Thank you both!
Lovely reminder of what a great bit of neologism 'Enshittification' is.
Seasons greetings Mr Addison! Looking forward to listening to this years collection of festive loveliness. x
I think this is the most beautiful advert I've ever seen.
Hoyte van Hoytema smashes it out of the park with his cinematography and the subtle direction from Marcus Ibanez is the icing on the cake.... A cake that is now covered by my tiny tears.
I've been saying this for years. Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock played by human (Hugh Grant). Kermit as Watson. Cast of Muppets as all other characters. They could have the same broad appeal as Dickens, similar timeless victorian England as backdrop. Comfort of well known central character (Sherlock).
It HAS to be The Wild Robot. Itβs my film of the year so far.

Skate Boardin' on my Atari 2600 Xmas 1987. Slapped on 'Power Of Love' by Huey Lewis and the news and pretended I was Marty McFly. The stuff dreams are made of.
Whenever I see a news headline that there may be snow coming, I get all excited like a giddy school boy. Then I remember I'm a 47 year old man and should probably grow up.
Finally got around to watching Jason Reitman's 'Saturday Night' this weekend and it was excellent. Having been lucky enough (lucky with a side dose of trauma) to have made a few similar shows that could only dream of the legacy SNL has, I thought it captured this slice of comedy history perfectly!
LinkedIn weirds me out.
The Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight is the most uncomfortable thing Iβve watched on TV since the Prince Andrew βI donβt sweatβ interview.
In 2001, on a cold and rainy Saturday in Toronto, I stumbled into a book store in Bloor West Village and pulled a random book off the shelf to read in a corner. The book was βThe Marriage Of Sticksβ by Jonathan Carroll and I have collected his work ever since. #Bookshelf
Keeping up the good vibes approach to BlueSky. Can recommend this book I picked up last weekend. βCoda Vol Oneβ by @sispurrier.bsky.social & @matiasbergara.bsky.social devoured it back to front and back again.
A plague - unless your my son opening his stocking at Christmas, in which case Temuβs adverts may have worked.
Iβm getting withdrawal from all the Temu Ads.
