our tiny art team worked so hard to bring the hand-drawn style of this game to life!! I'm very proud to have been a part of crafting the beautiful things in this trailer.๐ฟ
I can't believe I'm saying this but after 7 long years, I finally finished The Bells Arietta, my Zelda Fan Projectโจ
This project was a long bumpy road, but I'm glad I stuck with it until now!

๐ made a thing to celebrate becoming a rendering technical artist at Riot Games! and also wanted to make a persona for myself, which I will prob use as a library of placeholders throughout my other personal projects :)

For the mirror joints tool in Maya, behavior is flipping the rotation axis (example: arms rotating outward) and orientation keeps the same axis (example: arms rotating to the same side together).
long time no bsky ๐
I keep forgetting which is which for mirroring joints and I couldn't find a straightforward graphic online so I made one lol

In our next Tiny Glade update we'll bump the light limit from 32 to 32k while keeping the cost more or less the same.
The small limit has been a cop out, as we didn't quite know how to render huge numbers of (screen-space) shadow-casting lights without severe performance degradation.
Shadowman and conductor models, overlaid with a variety of controls for their limbs.
conductor and shadowman rigs- still surprised I managed to model/rig/animate these in a week, but making similar rigs every jam has made me fairly comfortable with it!
but does anyone have any advice on making rigging tools? ๐

oh man that seems crazzyyy ambitious to do in a week ๐ง props to your team for pulling that off!!
thankkssss ๐ต๐คฉ
oh wow thank you, glad it was memorable!! ๐ what did you enter for this jam?
thank youu โบ๏ธ
never posted about this jam from earlier this year, but better late than never?
๐ถ We placed 1st!! with our Persona inspired rhythm game- I did all the art and had a blast leaning into the P5 aesthetic ๐

oh could you mean Bifrost? hm I'm not sure how it compares against geometry nodes, but the main incentive for me to switch anyway is that blender is open source :)
lookin very cool! even as a maya user blender still feels unintuitive to me but I've been wanting to learn it too, geometry nodes seem very useful
