A page painted from my old favorite sketchbook, it was small and made it really easy to make thumbnails for background practice. I used acrylic paint and would bring travel pallets I made into cafes or my travel water colors, get a coffee and practice scenes for ages

Thank you! I had a very messy base sketch, but I was stuck and couldn't get it "right" so I light boxed it to a fresh piece of paper and it helped a lot! The extra lines were throwing me off this time I guess, the clean base and fresh eyes gave me the motivation 😊

Exactly!!! Multiple neighbors that are afraid of spiders came over to tell me that they relocate them now! And emphasized how huge and brave that is for them. And one of them said they've made friends with a jumper in their office, from a respectful distance, and never would've imagined that

And I have a spine injury and my joints don't stay in place, so I was telling my friend I wish I had an exoskeleton instead of a skeleton and they were very weirded out but supportive to learn about me explaining some bug anatomy lol

Yes! To me spiders are sooo interesting and there's so much to learn and I get so passionate talking about them, especially how different they can be! Then getting into moths tipped me into learning about so many other bugs, my neighbors started calling me over to reloc them so I can gush over them
