I admittedly like the aesthetic more than actually playing it, but I think it’s my second most revisited classic sonic game.

This was actually part of an old Earthbound hack I made a long time ago for fun! I changed the sprites of the playable characters as well as a few npcs like this. SkyRocket was the hint giver. :)
In this brief cutscene at the end of 'Sonic Adventure 2′s Hero Story, you would normally see just Eggman’s arm. Pulling a little bit back reveals that Eggman is a little worse for wear.

I've received so many nice early birthday gifts from friends. Everyone is so kind...
Alternatively, it could just be a case of me missing the forest for the trees. What might come off as bad on the outside may have something underneath that makes it worthwhile.
What I usually do when this happens is step away from my story for a while and focus on something else. With any luck I’ll come back with a refreshed outlook and can spot what’s bothering me.
