Wow @ipshipyard.com you updated ipfs.io and whilst I applaud the transition to ipfs.tech it seems strange to me that there is no hint of a link to IPFS by way of a logo or colour scheme. It looks to me a little like a domain squatter site…

The really cool thing about this service is that if Bluesky the company were to shut every one of our servers down hard, this can still migrate your account to a new pds and keep going. Really awesome stuff for decentralization

in addition to automating offsite repo+blob backups, it has a web UI for registering PLC recovery keys (which you keep in a p/w manager, not remote service), and doing the adversarial PLC recovery process (eg, if your "old" PDS is unavailable)
