Whether you believe in climate change or not, your insurance company does

Just as floods in Lismore make home insurance in Sydney cost more. Fires in LA make Australian insurance more expensive too

The more coal &gas we export the more global warming we cause and the more our insurance will cost

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

San Francisco is messed up. Going into voluntary or involuntary treatment doesn't address poverty, and homelessness.

Adult education of the different levels of government and related responsibilities is so important I agree. The challenge will be how to engage the apathetic, the busy, the totally unengaged in any form of politics.

I think that will be a very large map Brendon. Will it be broken down into individual sections, separate charts....addressing each level of government ?

Each year, Dec 21–the Winter Solsticeβ€”also marks Homeless Day of Remembrance, honoring those who died while experiencing homelessness.

Because we don’t all keep records of this, our best estimates are that between 15 and 45 thousand unhoused people die each year.

This is the first thing I've written since moving to Bluesky that has gotten a loy of traction. It reallyshows how much of Twitter's engagement is actually entirely fake.

Also shows just how sad so manyof us are about the state of things.
