S1 wider achievement are working with Sphero robots in today’s lesson. We are using our numeracy skills to work out the number of degrees they have to turn to create different shapes.

S3 pupils are making use of @wayground.bsky.social’s new passage feature. Pupils can view a passage of text with accompanying diagrams and answer questions.
S1 wider achievement have been designing their own computer games characters and creating these in Scratch 3 over the past few weeks.
S3 pupils using their binary conversion skills to create bracelets that represent their initials in ASCII. What a fun activity for the end of the week!

Safe to say that S1 pupils have enjoyed their time in wider achievement computing this year. 😍
S3 Conputing Science pupils enjoyed an ASCII/binary scavenger hunt during their last week in the class. All teams gave it a good go but we'll done to Adrian, Josh and Jack who were the first team to finish!
Well done to Homachi who is being nominated for Mrs Alexander-Doyle's pupil of the month for her year group. Other nominations are Harris from the S1WA class, Kerr from S2 and Muhrin from S5. Great work this month everyone!
A thinking task to get Mrs A-D’s S3 class started today. Their job was to interpret the HTML code on the board and draw what they thought it’d look like in a browser.

Mrs Alexander-Doyle’s S3 Computing Science class are getting a taste of the National 5 course this week as part of faculty fortnight. Pupils are trying out procedural programming with Python and making short quiz programs.
