I have the new 4x2 in place, but looking at how crowded it is now, I kind of wish that I had just gotten rid of the two smaller clones instead of replacing a small tent with a bigger tent.

I think I might be done with them, too. In addition to all of the other problems and unreliability, I now know that the water pH drifts, at least for me. It went from 6.3 to 7.3 in about 24 hours, and I’m pretty much over it at this point.

Three freaks.

Half of them break after 6 months, so you might as well buy a couple extras. 😄

I see. I’ve never heard that before, so I usually just go by when the flower sites begin to show, so that I don’t spend more plant energy than necessary on flowers that will get trimmed.

It is so crowded right now and full of spindly little branches that have got to go. 😄

They’ll be ok. I do that to my photos all the time. These were trimmed heavily on the day I switched them to 12/12, and look at them now, 11 days later. 🤪

I will need to trim them again tonight after I get the new tent set up.

i forgot to mention that I will check the water pH again on Saturday morning to compare it to the water that had vinegar added.

It is just well water with Hydroguard added. I don’t put any kind of anything in the bases anymore because of how gross they can get.

I think the vinegar pH experiment is over. Someone warned me about pH drift, so I checked the reservoir today and the pH had climbed from 6.3 on Tuesday to 8.0 today!

That is nice! My carbon filter is in the way at the top of the tent, but I might try to change it up today. I ordered a light and one of the ai powerstrips so that I can I move my two small clones into their own tent and make more room in the 3x3.

Thanks! Are there any downsides to using them instead of the orange and blue mixes? The videos I watched were all positives, no negatives, which seems suspicious. 😄

Does anyone use vinegar for adjusting pH down? I tried it this morning after watching a video yesterday, and now I want to find the citric acid crystals or whatever it is that adjusts the pH up. 👍
