I liked the idea that she’d would be the outlier in the Mecha Man lineage.

Simply put theres no belt cvt or an actual transmission in the traditional sense.
The electric motors directly drive the front wheels with the ice engine mainly serving as a generator.
At highway speeds the engine will switch over via a fixed gear ratio, similar to an overdrive/final gear.
