The magic the gathering card Splinter's Technique. A sorcery which allows you to search for a card in your library and put it to hand. It has the Sneak ability with a cost of 1B and returning an attacking unblocked creature to hand.
This one seems pretty good when you've got cards like Rograkh to make sure you get through with attacks.
I have a setup but the next few Saturdays are a bit tricky due to going to (or running) cedh events. More than happy to help out when I can though. Can also highly recommend John or any of the other @cedhuk.bsky.social folks.

"Is that your second spell for turn?" is a common question in games with various @cedhuk.bsky.social folks. TIP is good, Faerie Mastermind too helps balance all the card draw effects a little (and occasionally kills Thoracle players).
I played them in Derevi way back when I was on the deck. Cool for stealing rocks, getting Derevi triggers, and sometimes even grabbing TOR because more people were on it then and Derevi really needs a draw engine or two.

Definitely some great cards in that set even when you ignore the powerful cards like Stoneforge, Jace, Amulet, and other stuff. The whole of Zendikar was very cool.
The closest to that I've done is saying essentially "this is where I'd offer a game or match draw in an event, let's play it out anyway to see what happens". It's useful to point those situations out to people who are new to tournaments but not something I'd do in a pod with a bunch of grinders.
Old core set foils are great, 7th get the most hype but 8th and 9th look really good too. My LGS has a 8th Ed foil Blood Moon that I keep being tempted by even though I don't play it in any decks right now.
Foil pain lands are really good ones to pick up for budget or low colour lists too.
Even more fun when you've got a bunch of ways to go infinite with mana and you can just put some in play and make use of them later, like casting a Swift Recon on an opponents thing, untap and cast Druid and go to combat, Ardenn Trigger target Druid and win.

That was me this morning but for bread when I went to make my toast. Now I have to hope I remember to get some after the gym at lunch time or my lunch might have to be something other than what I'd planned to have.
No one has asked me about the training yet but I'll happily tell them to bugger off if they really push me on it.
We've got mandatory "agentic AI" training that we're supposed to do but I'm avoiding it. The project I'm on is also telling people to use copilot for code but I'm also avoiding that because I actually enjoy writing code, it produces garbage, and the slew of ethical issues with it.

The card Storm of Memories from Avatar the Last Airbender magic the gathering set. It's a sorcery for 2 colourless and 3 red with Storm and Exile an instant or sorcery card with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard at random. You may cast it without paying it's mana cost. If that spell would be put into a graveyard, exile it instead.

Yeah, UU is a bit tough sometimes but most of the decks usually end up with that anyway. Rogsi might not end up on it but Tymna decks I can see trying it and another outlet in Kinnan is good.
Bird real good. It'll go in a bunch of decks even when UU might feel a bit of a rough cost. It gets itself out of Bowmasters range even when x = 0 with every tutor too.
Always time to start some, especially with Avatar previews just starting.

I almost always have a deck on my desk or within easy reach. I often find myself shuffling it when I'm waiting for stuff to happen at work or when I'm in boring meetings (like right now). Occasionally I'll goldfish some hands too but shuffling is just a nice action to do for me.

This has led to much more interesting games for everyone as knowing you can't just force a draw with a Pact or whatever means you have to actually try to play the game and be more careful with when you attempt to win. You still get draws due to time but not as often as forced draws usually are.
Which is partly why most games I'll say at the start that I'm not going to accept any forced draws, if someone is sending it then you shop stop them if you can and if someone tries after them then I hope the player who sent it didn't eat all the interaction.
