Even for a visiting foreign dignitary this is inexcusable behavior

Helluva legal rider here given that the item I’d bought was *one pillowcase*! I mean, how wrong can it go with a pillowcase?

Also, why not just steal the man’s fish? He’s gotta learn about systemic inequity sometime, right?

One more time, shout out to the very serious people who suggested that RFK had some really good points about public health. No way to have predicted how things would turn out, except to look at his past record and everything he said about vaccines.

I recently became acquainted with "Osanaetoki Bankokubanashi" η«₯硡解万国噺, a Japanese illustrated history of America from 1861. The retelling of the revolutionary era is quite something. Here, for instance, is John Adams wielding a sword in mortal combat with a gigantic serpent.

World-famous pianist Alfred Brendel dies aged 94 Alfred Brendel's disciplined musicianship was tempered by a deliberately off-beat view of the world.

Alfred Brendel was the first pianist whose name I registered and, when I was 14 and barely knew the meaning of β€œinterpretation”, the first one whose recordings I bought because of the performer rather than the composer. I still love his Beethoven sonatas. RIP.
