Calligro 2.1.0 is released!
You can now export templates as Aseprite files. They're separated into layers for convenience.
I'd play Bullet Goose
My prototype is finally starting to look like something. The cute characters from @kaylousberg.bsky.social 's kits are doing a lot of heavy lifting in the art department
Can't escape!

picoCAD is great
One perk of maintaining an index of gamedev websites is that people are sending me some cool blogs I might have never found otherwise
I just launched my recent side project: curated gamedev specific search engine!
Check it out at gamedevtorch.com
Tip: for added performance and more compact code you can just check for the letter "t" instead of "true"
It turned out it was happening for a few corrupted search results. I fixed that, thank you
Thanks! Hm, can you give me an example or a link? Nothing like that seems to happen for me
I'd generally advice to search specific problems as they arise. But maybe composing a list like this could help with proper terminology?
I also found that for complete beginners queries like "how to become a game developer" or "gamedev beginner" show some more concrete articles than Google
Thanks to everyone who already posted suggestions for websites for my search engine! It's motivating
It'll never replace something like Google (I can dream!) but can be used alongside it to find more niche resources
It's pretty much the result of procrastinating on my dungeon crawler

Maybe something more like balanced and imbalanced scales or a square and a triangle with bold vertices?
Great idea, I'll definitely use it once it can be integrated with the built in Godot editor
It's awesome! Looks really action packed, I didn't realize this is turned based at first
Minimalist red creature carrying a torch and waving
Say hello to the new mascot of my upcoming non-game side project
I need some reviews, guys. π’

I'm not sure but I can't help but imagine it dancing up and down in its idle state
It should be standard practice to have bee movie script unit tests
A grappling hook to pull the enemies and kick them, of course
Godot seems surprisingly well suited to be used as a frontend for custom C# game engines
It's very cool! For a moment I wanted to point out that at least the world is 3D but on second thought it's not even that. The character still moves in 2D space
