Yeah, it was like a solid B overall I think, but the obvious studio notes at the very end were incorporated so badly it felt kind of sarcastic and I have no idea what Lee Pace was doing in the movie.

I watched the 2025 remake of this last night and for the first hour or so I was thinking “Not bad, could pick up the pace a little but I’m surprised people were down on this” and then that last half hour hit and I was like “oh I see.”
