Londonβs low-traffic zones βcut deaths and injuries by more than a thirdβ
Exclusive: Study also finds no change in number of casualties on roads just outside low-traffic neighbourhoods
βLTNs have led to considerable reductions in road traffic injuries inside their boundaries for all road users β from pedestrians and cyclists to drivers [while] concerns about nearby main roads becoming more dangerous arenβt supported by the evidence.β

If Labour figures think they need to win reform voters by going to the right.
Then they're less concerned about being in power to make the country a more just and progressive country, they want power for power's sake
And they should fuck right off

Saw it this morning: C9, Kew Bridge. Reported to #LoveCleanStreets but Paul makes the crucial point that the traffic light could have been a person. The rest of it was scattered across the road to the right of this picture. Don't understand why Kew Bridge has no cycle lane and no speed enforcement.

A smashed traffic light on the southoboud section of Kew Bridge cycle way C9.
Hi @willnorman.co.uk @london.gov.uk @transportforlondon.bsky.social
Please sort this out URGENTLY.
Myself, a father to an 11 year old, waits here a LOT on my way back from work. Drivers here trying to get to 40mph.

There are tons of writers online sharing tips, look for critique partners, talking about competitions and which agents are currently open to submissions. (try #amwriting as a starting point).
I hope this is helpful - good luck!π

Another thing you can do is look out for writing competitions - some of these give feedback, and it's always good to put any longlists or shortlists (or wins!) on a covering letter. Some competitions are also judged by agents.

You can check the acknowledgements section of books similar to yours, the agent usually gets a mention.
Keep a list of who you've submitted work to and when, agencies often tell you how long to wait before you'll get a reply. You won't always get feedback, but keep a note if you do.

Next step is to find the agents - hashtags like #MSWL (manuscript wish list) or #askanagent are useful ways to find out which agents are open to submissions and what they're interested at the moment. You can also check the bio of the agent and find their agency website for more leads.

Hello Andrew, yes it's possible, and social media is a useful tool. You submit a sample of your work - check what the agent is asking for (often a one page synopsis and 1-3 chapters, but it varies) and send with a covering email (a short pitch, your experience, why you've chosen that agent)
