Our son, with a toy mower by his side, watches Max mow his lawn, which was always the envy of the neighborhood.
Max shot himself last summer. He was getting old and didn't want to be a burden. There was no service, no obit, per his wishes. In some way we never really grieved his passing, and seeing these pictures makes that abundantly clear. We miss you, Max, and hope you are at peace and enjoying Chardonnay.
