i would disagree. A guitar can do what a synth can. Just need the right pedals and pickups. Introduce a midi pickup and it's game over for synth instantly.

Biggest possible advantage is a synth may have more immediate octave range but let's be real, ain't no synth player using an 88 key keyboard.

I use only Boss pedals, so it is an easy tone to dodge for the average pedal obsessed goob since not booteek or strymon
