Politicians have always lied, but not like this. MAGA just knowingly invents their own reality, and nobody stops them.
I keep thinking about 1988. You could watch the debate, see the ads, and you mostly knew what you were voting for. There was spin, but we could expect mostly the truth. 👉
He said he wishes he'd paid more attention and done a little more research. And though it's easy to just get pissed at people for not digging deeper, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO. Candidates used to tell you their policies and you could just choose. Now it's lie after lie, and the media just pumps it out.👉
I had a conversation with a guy doing some work on our house. Reasonable guy. Pretty young, about 30. He said he doesn't follow the news very closely, he voted for Trump because he just saw the ads, heard bits of stuff on the news, and just went with "the better option." (Next-->)
