With Emily and Ally Pape, Cornell has gotten the full family experience

Cornell's Emily and Ally Pape had never gotten to be teammates before this season because of their three-year age gap. They’ve loved it — and tried not to take this brief window for granted.

Ahead of their last game together on Saturday, read this story from our @jennhatfield.bsky.social:

Columbia's Riley Weiss wins her 6th Ivy League Player of the Week award of the season. She's only the 6th player in league history to get that many in a season, per Columbia.

Harvard's Olivia Jones wins her 8th Rookie of the Week award in 17 weeks. @theixsports.bsky.social #NCAAWBB

(1/4) Columbia and Princeton WBB won today to stay tied for first place with 1 game left. They'll be the top 2 Ivy League Tournament seeds in some order.

Barring a wild scenario involving a big swing in the NET, Harvard will be the No. 3 seed and Brown the No. 4. @theixsports.bsky.social #NCAAWBB

Princeton leads Harvard 13-11 after 1Q.

So it's interesting - I've asked Griffith specifically about keeping things in the back pocket a few times in the past year or so. She said she used to do that more, but now not so much. Win the game right in front of you however you need to, then figure out the next one is basically her approach.

Not totally sure what incentives you mean here, but if you mean not worrying as much about the regular season with an eye toward the tournament, I think every team is trying to enter the tournament playing as well as possible and with some momentum. (Momentum is even Columbia’s word for the season.)

How Ciniya Moore became Yale's top scorer | The IX Sports Ciniya Moore was known more as a defender than as a scorer in high school. But at Yale, she's become the Ivy League's third-leading scorer.

Yale's Ciniya Moore was recruited primarily for defense. Yet as a sophomore, she is the Ivy League's third-leading scorer at 17.6 points per game.

For @theixsports.bsky.social, I wrote about how Moore's made the jump - and whether she feels any pressure in this role. #NCAAWBB

After Harvard WBB led by as many as 18, Penn got it within 1. But Harvard ended 3Q on an 8-0 run (5 from Olivia Jones) to lead 50-39.

And Brown has opened up a 46-29 lead vs. Cornell. If these scores hold, H and B clinch the last Ivy Madness spots. @theixsports.bsky.social #NCAAWBB

(2/2) A lot of that is due to junior transfers Mary Meng (2.2 blocks per game) and Luisa Vydrova (0.7). First-year Dorka Kastl (2.4) has also been crucial.

That rim presence helped Yale's defense allow 5.7 points fewer per 100 possessions than last year. @theixsports.bsky.social #NCAAWBB
