Shielings and big skies

The star cluster Pismis 24 lies within the much larger emission nebula called NGC 6357, located about 8,000 light-years from Earth. The cluster is seen here above a small portion of the nebula. The gas below the stars glows through ionization caused by intense ultraviolet radiation from the massive young stars within the cluster. Very wide panoramic shot of a stunning mountain with lots of peaks. It is golden hour and the light is shining on dead grasses in the foreground and midground, as well as on the peaks. There is some cloud and blue sky in the distance.

Sometimes you just had to take ridiculously wide panoramas (stitched from multiple vertical shots).
