Here are my predictions for the Pokemon Gen 10 starter's final types.

Grass / Ground

Fire / Fairy

Bad / Bitch (slay)

Golemancy: the Ascent is a tactical Mech (piloted Golems) TTRPG inspired by rogue-likes.

I'm finally excited to work on something creatively again.
And with the brunt of the work already done (reusing the system I already made) progress is going very smoothly.

Hey everyone, update time. (Good news!)

You might have heard, but I'm shifting gears.
I've felt creatively stuck for quite a while on Tamers.

I'm taking the entire custom made TTRPG system I did for that, and using it to create something new; "Golemancy: the Ascent"

Something like this would make for a fun new game+ mode in any Pokemon game. 🤔

Even back around that time I steered clear of Tinder, it already had a bad reputation back then.

I mainly used OkCupid, but actually ended up finding my now wife on a small site called Plenty of Fish.
That site seemed pretty genuine, but it's been 9+ years since then so idk how it has changed.

Gotta love it...

I'm slowly getting out of my burnout, so progress on Tamers is speeding up!

I've overhauled the elemental system. Streamlined based on my experience running it.

They were kind of getting somewhere with Demons.

"Oh a Demon, probably shouldn't cast fire magic."

But there really aren't any other wide selections of monsters that are resistant to cold, lightning, acid, and so on.

So you have Fire & Poison as the two main 'system interacters', so why use them?

I think it's a matter of implementation.
If it's a core aspect of your gameplay where it interacts with everything, both players and enemies, then it can add a lot of strategy to the game.

5e does an awful job. The system doesn't interact with the players, and only a selection of monsters.

I really enjoy these dice I got as a gift, nothing too crazy, but I really dig them.
Haven't had a chance to use them yet though.

I'm someone who actually enjoys the minutiae of balancing.
That being said, it's great and all to have [3 spike pits, dealing 1d6 damage each, if a player fails all 3, they'll still have enough HP to make it through the dungeon].

But BEFORE that, WHY are there spike pits,WHO made them, etc.

Apparently 2025 is the beginning of Generation "Beta"...

It'll be interesting to see how the inevitable generational hate pans out with this one, given the unfortunate baggage that word comes with. Lol

I'd personally keep an eye out for Lactose free items.
At least here in Canada is seems like they are getting more and more common.

Lactose free cheeses, ice cream and even milk are all out there.

You can even take Lactace tablets to help as well when you're out to eat.
