A very personal story for me. It's about my time in college and an amazing group of friends who were convinced we could radically change the world for the better. Twenty years later, I wish more people had the kinds of utopian dreams we did, even if naive. The world might've looked different.

A young man searches for his dead girlfriend in TV static and psychedelic realms, guided by her theory that consciousness survives death and that the universe longs for revolution. When should we let go of utopias, if ever?

I grew up on Star Trek the next generation, but after watching the entire Deep Space 9, it made me a convert. Best Star Trek series for the depth of the characters, the moral complexity, and the darkness of the plot.
I appreciate that so much!! I’m so honored when people take the time to not only read my story, but let me know it resonated with them.

As someone who writes weird fiction and teaches first year composition I live this paradox every day
I don’t like typing on the phone either, but I do sometimes dictate notes. Have you tried that? I use an app called Obsidian.You can always go back and clean up spelling or things that didn’t catch later. Also, thanks for the follow! I’m team Petrichor as well.
