So refreshing to hear someone talk about the value of being an older writer!

Here's my first Starter Pack.
This Starter Pack contains writers who completed Granta writing courses in memoir, nature writing, short fiction, and longform journalism. There's some amazing writers in here for you to follow and get to know.
This review is spot on. Yes, indeed - what a master of the short form.
What an amazing flash review! And every word of it true!!!
Amazing list. Can’t wait to get my hands on some of these
Also a shout out for Kathryn's new collection of flash fiction. She is an absolute master of the short short form. Honestly, I wish I could pack so much into such a tiny space. Lots of power hits in this one: www.goodreads.com/book/show/23...
Enter the strange world of Eleanor Fuller's writing - always so weird and rich and strangely compelling. She has a new piece out on Minor Lit: minorliteratures.com/2025/06/12/o...
Up by 4 o’clock in the morning, and read Cicero’s Second Oration against Catiline, which pleased me exceedingly; and more I discern therein than ever I thought was to be found in him; but I perceive it was my ignorance, and that he is as good a writer as ever I read in my life.
We need a massive convergence of people to protest the ambush of President Zelenskyy we witnessed yesterday in the Oval Office. Protest at ground zero in Washington DC.

"History will remember this day— when an American President and Vice President abandoned all we stand for."
Great to have this but I don’t see one Australian lit journal in there. Meanjin, Southerly, Westerly, kill Your Darlings, Heat - all better than many on this list. The world is more than just the northern hemisphere.
Are you a #writer or #reader just getting started on Bluesky?
I put together a list of many of the top literary magazines that have made the switch. Show them some love by following them and giving them the ability to leave Twitter for good.
Feel free to share and repost.

Kurosawa is brilliant! Throne of Blood also - what an outstanding adaptation of Macbeth.

Congratulations 🥳🥳 That’s amazing.
Another powerful novel from Carys Davies. Such a clear narrative drive, such magical prose. Truly inspiring.
