Also a shout out for Kathryn's new collection of flash fiction. She is an absolute master of the short short form. Honestly, I wish I could pack so much into such a tiny space. Lots of power hits in this one: www.goodreads.com/book/show/23...

Great to have this but I don’t see one Australian lit journal in there. Meanjin, Southerly, Westerly, kill Your Darlings, Heat - all better than many on this list. The world is more than just the northern hemisphere.

Are you a #writer or #reader just getting started on Bluesky?

I put together a list of many of the top literary magazines that have made the switch. Show them some love by following them and giving them the ability to leave Twitter for good.

Feel free to share and repost.

Kurosawa is brilliant! Throne of Blood also - what an outstanding adaptation of Macbeth.

Another powerful novel from Carys Davies. Such a clear narrative drive, such magical prose. Truly inspiring.
