The attack on transgender athletes is a trial subscription to your willingness to excuse segmenting and obliterating a very small group of people to get you used to it. Because of what's planned next.

At the college level, there are estimated to be around fewer than 10 trans athletes in the US. A certain group of people would like to other them, because if they can get you to do that, well, the next group is easier, and then easier after that, until it's your neighbor. And then it's you.

I don't understand many of my liberal acquaintances who, despite all evidence to the contrary, continue to think appealing to a sense of decency or shame by Trumpist politicians will have any effect. They will do what they can, what can be gotten away with, and little else matters.
