Photo of my copies of Mawaru Made In Wario, WarioWare Inc. and Rhythm Tengoku. A 9-Volt gashapon figure is in the foreground.
I'm way behind on current Nintendo (the newest consoles I own are an original DS and a SNES Mini), but the GBA WarioWare remains in my all-time top 10. It just has this timeless quality and it's one of the few physical GBA carts I have on my shelf.
If anything the entertainment industry should be pushing against the decades of het romances that we saw in media growing up. I don't know what's "therapy" about simply saying "hey it's okay to like other guys/girls."
(see thread for previous)
The end of Whiplash but it's Jazzy NYC 99 from SFIII 3rd (with bonus stray cursor)
Sriracha Doritos review: fine, I guess, but Chilli Heatwave is right there so I donβt care that much.
As Square Enix gears up to officially reveal Part 3 of the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy, I probed director Naoki Hamaguchi for some teases of what's coming.
Wutai? Yes. Space? Yup. Chocobo breeding? Not clear... www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...
The Mega Man X DOS soundtrack is wild. It's like different people composed each channel track in separate locations with no communication between them.

Reading a user review on GOG. Rating: two stars. In the body text: "I give it a 6.6/10." Which is it dude - wars start and end over these details
Screenshot of Mad Maestro, showing the conductor in the centre of the image with the UI superimposed on the action.
Gitaroo Man and Parappa 2 usually get a mention but I want to give props to Mad Maestro - one of the only games I can think of that used the analogue buttons in a meaningful way; encouraging soft or firm presses to the beat.
Screenshot of the credits sequence for Street Fighter Alpha 2 (SNES).
Reacquainted myself with SF Alpha 2 for SNES and it's just *chef's kiss*. The "approximations" of the soundtrack, the compressed voices that sound like someone trapped in a wardrobe, the weird pause after a KO. It's got everything.
I like to Chew It (Move It)? Although perhaps a bit more recent than the others.
Trio (Day-O)?
QTP with the last 4 games you played!
I didn't finish my P5 Royal replay as I was kind of getting bored of the Spaceport - but I hit credits on the others. Revisiting Symphony was fun, and I can finally emulate Bust-A-Groove without desyncs.
Nice to see that the Steam community is reacting completely normally to the removal of the Jester award.
("Funny" is there, I guess. Or any of the "positive" awards that could be used sarcastically.)
I retweeted the Feature FM links page from Kid Katana earlier this week, but thanks :D I've only skimmed through it though so I need to have a proper listen anyway...
The month in games | February:
Sonic Frontiers
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Bust-A-Groove
And an abandoned P5 Royal replay. March may begin with some of the new PS+ offerings, but then again I might bounce off them.

I much preferred the origin story, Operation Mild Discontentment
I feel like the argument presented kind of corners itself too.
"we used genAI methods"
"okay fuck that"
"no but we had a translator review all of the output"
"then why use genAI in the first place"

Ultra Street Fighter IV for PC
#RandomGameSaturday offers Ultra Street Fighter IV... for PC!
I always enjoy PC versions allowing games to live a little longer, and it was rare to see a PC disc release this late. Although flipping the case open reveals a Super SFIV disc and an upgrade code. Gah!
"It's worth noting that this translation was made possible in part thanks to AI systems such as DeepL and ChatGPT 4o/4.5. This "playtesting" translation was then subject to a "substantial, months-long human translator review" according to the team behind it."

Oh shit, I didnβt even consider the J soundtrack - Iβll have to get on YouTube.
As for censorship, I did wonder if Strikeβs can was always a canβ¦ π€ Or if it was pop in there or something else π
