Order 8625-2 Complete!

Customer sent in a dead Game Gear for repair and some upgrades!

Leaking caps caused some components to fall off board and corrode pads. Replaced parts, cleaned, recapped and installed BennVenn IPS Screen and RetroSix USB-C Batteries!

It took 10 months(!!), but I'm finally back to working on the battle system. Reused whatever code I could and linked it to the new dungeon event system. Still lots to do though... enemy AIs, sprites, action/skills, status effects, damage calculations, player deaths, loot drops... ๐Ÿฅด

I've maintained an iOS & Android app since 2016 using Ionic, though I'm not sure I'd still recommend it. Lately I've been using Flutter, same principle (easy multi-platform compilation from one codebase) and that's been quite nice. In theory you could even use Godot for mobile app development. :)

This is an unexpected but fun feature in the upcoming #Godot 4.6 release:

You can change the LED color of certain connected devices via Input.set_joy_light(). Here it's working on both PS4 and PS5 controllers.
