Woke up to the M4.3 earthquake, heard the earth rumble and the house creak. It felt close. Earthquake’s epicenter was at the cross-street of Dwight St and Piedmont Ave in Berkeley, just a few blocks from the campus of UC Berkeley.

This is happening now at least once a month. I want the @alerts.bart.gov board of directors head and accountable for this. If you want people to return to using BART, you need to have reliable service. Speaking as a lifelong BART advocate and severely disappointed in this horse shit #BART

Just got the tsunami warning on my phone here in Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. M7.2 earthquake out on the Alaska Peninsula. Nothing felt.

Folks, there can be a situation where 3D printing houses makes sense. But most situations it doesn’t. You still have to install, wiring, plumbing, windows, doors and the whole roof the normal way. 1/2

Happy to say, a week ago we welcomed the first family into Kilohana Temporary Housing Site. Part of Phase 1. Governor Green and Congresswoman Jill Tokuda spoke and toured the homes. Note the family agreed to part of the opening event. Other families were given full privacy during move in.

Year ago I flew to Maui and was given a task by our Regional Administrator: find a suitable location for a temporary housing site for 170 homes, design it, secure a lease and permits and then BUILD it.
