Hello old friend π
I just got a discount at the Paris opera house for being an EU resident π. Little things like this make it feel very real.
Now that I live in Spain my favorite country to travel to is Italy.
Congrats Doctor Menghini! π
Iβm in my travel for festivals/events era. Brought to you by hotel reservation in Venice for Carnival 2027. And yes booking this early is why I get cheap prices.
Ha ha in Galicia itβs the darkest itβs been in 30 years thanks to the onslaught of Atlantic storms. Also these has been an approx w reduction of 50% in sun light this January. West Michigan winters prepared me for this! π
Both Portuguese and Gallego come from GalicianβPortuguese. I understand Portuguese way more than Gallego, at least for now.
My two worlds are colliding. The text is in Gallego!
The cartoon says βWhat Super Bowl, what the hell!! Iβm the mailman!!β
Excatly π π€£π³
I totally get that! Thatβs how I felt about the heat in Miami
I live in the rainiest part of Spain right on the north west coast. Iβve heard it rains less in the summer but Iβm skeptical π§ Like how are they defining lessons rainy? π
Yes it rains A LOT here but also itβs rained 98% more than last year. Weβve had back, to back, to back Atlantic storms. Just today I saw this mini landslide on the way to the supermarket. The ground just got to saturated.
Me under an umbrella in a typical day
Maybe itβs because Iβm in my soul space but I donβt mind the constant rain and on most days you see the sun for a few hours.
Also, Iβm no font expert butβ¦ πππ
What I loved the most about Bad Bunnyβs show is how unapologetically Puerto Rican it was AND YET, he made all Latinos feel included. Itβs not that hard to be yourself and yet still love and celebrate others. Signed someone who is half π΅π· and half π¦π·.
I would have made us PiΓ±a Coloadas. π₯²
Merp canβt go to Chruch tomorrow because all the trains are shut down due to fear of flooding and or landslides. Galicia is rainy in Jan but itβs been even bad for us. Thanks climate change π. Picture of hail and rain last week. β¬οΈ
Just participated in Communion led by Korean pilgrims in Santiago de Compostela. It felt like Pentecost.
European blackout curtains are the greatest invention. In related news Iβm part bat. π¦ππ»ββοΈ
Ahhh ok. Since US TikTok became a thing last week a lot of peopleβs videos arenβt loading, sound is not working, and or their viewership is way down. People are speaking in code to refer to Minnesota that way their videos go through.

You mean about the glitching?
I wonder if now is the time to register voters?
If I didnβt love this unfinished symphony I wouldnβt mourn whatβs going on. Waking up everyday and seeing whatβs happened on the other side of the pond breaks my heart. Lord in your mercy be with the truth tellers, the helpers, and those who mourn.
Itβs weird living in a place that doesnβt have extreme weather. No hurricanes and winter is a balmy 51 degrees. π₯²
Oh I will π
The monster!
In Galicia ALL the official notifications are in Gallego. Itβs close to Spanish but also very much not. I can get the gist depending how awake I am.
I believe there will be high winds tomorrow, either that or a giant sea monster approaching my town. Hard to tell.
Did 2020 ever end?
Choosing to immigrate to my favorite country is a privilege that I donβt take likely.
