Wonderful writing! Terrifyingly realistic future captured well.
What an amazing, touching video: https://youtu.be/PsiLS2S7A-w?si=N9KiR1KoWx2Mb9vM

Happy New Year from the Little Red Dot!
I wasn't sure about how I wanted to structure the data so a text file seemed the simplest way to start.
I might move it to a spreadsheet so that it's easier to get into something like HomeBox eventually.
Same concept but Labeled ziplocks!?! My god that's fancy. My stuff is just in random grocery bags haha. The only way I'd know what's in what is look at my new inventory text file or open each bag.
90% trash - lots and lots of micro usb cables, HDMI cables and the like. Probably a few things that might have been sale able but honestly wasn't worth the effort.
Pretty damn tired but also happy that most of my shelves are now back to partially full instead of overflowing and having stuff fall on my head anytime I opened an overhead shelf.
Spent most of yesterday and today doing a clean out of my study and the storage area, so I could get rid of a lot of tech junk. And good lord was there ever a lot of tech junk. Multiple large trash bags full of stuff.
Is this the alternative to rickrolling ๐
Heh. Last year I lost #whamageddon with 1 day to go (malls are very high risk areas for this game). Let's see how I do this year.

Unexpected #whamageddon is the worst #whamageddon.

The Bluesky app situation is grim though. The main Bluesky app does not even have a native iPad client! It runs in iPhone mode on the iPad which was an instant non-starter. I'm trying out Skeets which seems to be a popular alternate app but the UI on the app does leave something to be desired.
Signed up for #bluesky mostly as it's been more in the news with the latest round of #Xodus. Does seem like a lot more folks I used to follow on X are here than on mastodon.
That said there's a lot of cross posting happening between mastodon and Bluesky, which is kinda annoying.
