So @stoat.chat what's the secret sauce to getting verified? The emails take on average about an hour to arrive, and then when one clicks the link, it directs to a "Failed to verify" page. I'd love to start trying the platform if I could make an account.
Update to this: I am not as big a fan of their pricing, which is, to put it mildly, extortionate.
Quite a few banger Apogee games are on there, some have HD remakes at this point.
I'm 40 today.
My back does not hurt, I weigh less than I ever have in my adult life, I exercise regularly, and I still play and enjoy video games.
Which is not what my parents predicted for me, in an effort to try and scare me into acting like them.

My first Metroid game was Metroid Prime, and I never really was into traditional metroidvanias until a friend bought me Timespinner and I played it in a randomizer.
I've since played several metroidvanias, and today, I completed Super Metroid 100%.
I get it now. Good game.
The GM Energy charging stations by EVgo have turned into my favorite charging network.
Paired with Flying J/Pilot, it means we're always somewhere with predictable convenience and the stations are usually covered, which is very nice

This is one of my all time favorite DEFCON talks.
I have already removed the old wire and install 6 gauge wire for the two hot wires and 10 gauge wire for the ground wire.
The unit no longer overheats.

For the electrical layperson, 10 gauge wire is thinner than 6 gauge wire. Using a wire that is too thin is 1000% a fire hazard.
If the EV supply equipment hadn't had an onboard sensor to know the unit/wires were getting too hot, then I very well might have had an electrical fire.
My at-home EV supply equipment wouldn't run at full speed and was throwing an indicator of overheating. After a while I started to become suspicious so I took it apart and checked it.
The electrician I hired used 10 gauge wire with a 60A 240V breaker.
It calls for 6 gauge.
Fuck me, I guess.
In Dallas yesterday visiting friends: a bewildered older gentleman was trying to pay for parking at the same time I was. Payment options were text-a-number or QR code; his phone refused to read the QR code, and he'd never sent a text before. He probably would've been stuck if I hadn't helped.
I expect to be rewarded with Soul Calibur 2 eventually.
